Our laboratory
Benjel Chemical Consultants' laboratory has, in the past few years, added microbiological analyses as a service offered as part of its air quality analysis. It distinguishes itself by its excellent customer service. Their laboratory is composed of a team of microbiologists, all members of the Association of Microbiologists of Quebec (AMQ). They specialize in the detection and identification of mould present in the air and on surfaces.

Rigorous, quality analysis
Benjel’s laboratory stands out for its analytical quality. Indeed, during microbiological analyzes, rigor is vital. An IRSST study clearly showed that reducing the scan percentage of a sample can yield erroneous results (G. Marchand et al., Report R-605, 2009). The laboratory is proud to offer an analysis service according to recognized methods and is careful to always exceed the expectations of its customers.
Fast results and competitive pricing
The laboratory can provide genus-level results for cultures in as little as 7 days. species-level analysis is also available. This service requires 15 days, as a minimum recommended by recognized institutions.
Direct analysis of samples (spore traps, tape, etc.) are typically analyzed within 72 hours, but can also be processed in 24 to 48 hours if needed. The laboratory offers a service adapted to the needs of its customers, in addition to very competitive pricing.

The laboratory is conscientious of proper customer service. For regular clients (more that 10 samples per month), the transport is included. The laboratory is open to requests and suggestions from customers. The creation of analysis reports is done in a way to facilitate the transfer of the results to your documents and work procedures.
The analysis service includes: Analysis report, Interpretation Guide, and a list of moulds having been reported as possibly having effects on one's health.

Comprehensive services offered to customers
We offer the analysis of different samples, whether tape, kneaded, spore trap, surface sampling, dust, swab, insulating wool and weighing. The analysis of your samples includes a detailed report, an interpretation guide, as well as a census of the different agents present in the sample and their effects on health.
In order to satisfy our customers, we offer an offer for the most regular customers using our laboratory. Indeed, by sending more than 10 samples per shipment, we offer transport to our analysis center.
